My Story
Hi, I’m Laura Gordillo N. — a Psychologist, Health Coach, Counsellor, and passionate guide for those walking their own path to healing and wellbeing.
My journey into this world began long before my formal studies. I was raised in a family that owned and operated a rest home, and from a young age, I was immersed in a space where love, care, and empathy were part of daily life. It was there that I began to understand the power of human connection — especially in life’s most vulnerable moments.
When I chose to study Psychology, it felt like a natural step. I was always curious about how people feel, think, and heal. I was especially drawn to topics related to emotional support, mental health, and wellbeing. Even during my internships — whether in HR or Clinical settings — I gravitated toward psychoeducation and helping others feel seen and understood.
Later, I made the bold decision to move to New Zealand. It wasn’t just about learning English; it was about discovering who I truly am. The experience shaped me deeply and confirmed that my true passion lies in health psychology — the kind that embraces the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
On my own inner journey, I’ve faced challenges too — especially around my relationship with food, self-esteem, and finding clarity on my unique path. That’s why I’m so committed to creating a practice that is both compassionate and grounded in science. My training as a Health Coach helped me connect the dots between emotional and physical health, and today, I approach my work with great care and intention when choosing the tools and information I share with my clients.
I believe everyone deserves support — not just women, but also men and children. We all feel, struggle, and grow. We all deserve a space to explore our emotions with kindness and without judgment.
In every session, I bring not only my professional knowledge but also my life experience, my heart, and a deep belief in your ability to heal.
This is my purpose. And I’m so grateful you’re here.
With love,
Laura ✨
If I had the chance to invest in something to become truly wealthy, I’d choose to put on my emotional mask first — because feeling emotionally safe is the foundation for helping others.
